MEMORANDUM
OF UNDERSTANDING TRAINING / SHOP FLOOR TRAINING
This institute have signed a M.O.U. with the Industries/Establishments in
Government /Public Sector & Private Sector with
the aim to make the awareness by providing one/two
month training in their units/establishment among
the I.T.I. students/trainees who are getting
training in technical training institute about the
work of surrounding industries and about the high
tech. machinery available in the industries, which
is not available at present in the institute.
I.T.I’s students
can be engaged under M.O.U. They can be made aware
about industrial environment & to gain practical
experience. This will help them to get employment
in the establishment in they have take training
under (M.O.U) M.O.U. helps the students to work in
the shop floor by this it helps them to get
confidence& requirements of Industries.
ITI’s could
not meet the skill requirements of the industries
as the number of trades in which the trained
manpower available was limited. Hence to meet the
requirements of the industries further the Govt.
of Punjab decided to utilize the facilities of the
industries for training purpose and thus the M.OU.
Training was introduced.
Memorandum of understanding (M.O.U.)
training was thought of. It is felt that existing
training system is not fully meeting the
requirement of the industry in the context of more
rapid technological advancement. A gap between
skilled manpower requirement of industry and
manpower supplied by the institutions is widening
& also atmosphere of industry. It has therefore
become necessary to introduce the Memorandum of
understanding (M.O.U.)
