The
main objectives of Apprenticeship training is to
utilize the facilities available in the industry
for imparting practical training with
a view to meet the requirement of the skilled
workers/ supervisors in the industries. The state
Govt. is responsible for implement the scheme in
their respective Deptt., under taking private
sector establishment through their state.
Apprenticeship Advisor. The area falling under
this institute i.e. Patiala, Samana, Nabha,
Malerkotla. Assistant Apprenticeship Advisor (JR.)
is authorized to assess the seats under
Apprenticeship Act 1961 in the Govt. Department
/Industries /Private Sector (Industrial
Organization) on behalf of Assistant
Apprenticeship Advisor /Principal of the
Institute. The establishment under Apprenticeship
Act, 1961, pays Stipend, During Apprenticeship
Training period, stipend. Now the stipend to be
paid by the establishment under Apprenticeship
Act, 1961 is revised Vide:- F. NO. DGET –23(1)
2003 –AP Dated 28.3.07, NEW DELHI.

RELATED INSTRUCTION CENTER
This centre is imparting related instructions to
every Apprentices whosoever shall under go a
course of theoretical Instructions during his
apprenticeship-training period consisting of trade
theory, w/cal. & sc. Engineering Drawing and
Social Studies. The subject covered and time to be
devoted under related instructions are specified
in the respective syllabus of courses.
Related instruction camp is to be attended under
App. Act, 1961 compulsory with a minimum period of
40 days in every year by the every apprenticeship.
It is obligatory for the entire Establishment
covering under the App.Act.1961 to comply with the
instructions.
ADMISSION & EXAMINATION
Admissions are done
twice every year in the month of March &
September. The admission notice is given in
leading news paper in the month of February &
August. The exams are conducted on six month basis
